Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to order windows and doors?

Manufacturing lead times can vary. Once your order is placed it can take from 3-4 weeks for vinyl and aluminum, 4-8 weeks for wood products and 4-10 weeks for fiberglass to arrive.

Once the materials arrive, when can they be installed?

Installation times range from 1-3 weeks. Times vary based on how busy we are. We do not schedule installation dates until we have received the materials for your project.

Do you offer any warranty for your work? What about the window warranty?

Yes. Our company is proud to offer a  1 YEAR WARRANTY for all of our professional installations. Manufacturer warranties vary. CLICK HERE for more information.

Do I need a permit to replace my windows and doors?

It depends on the requirements of your city. The best way to be sure is to ask your local city building department. If permits are needed we can provide this service at an additional charge.

Will replacing my windows and doors help to reduce noise?

Yes. Depending on what you currently have, the reduction in noise can be significant. New windows offer better seals and weather-stripping in addition to the double paned glass. Also, to reduce noise even more, we can offer laminated glass.

Will replacing my windows and doors help conserve energy and reduce my energy bill?

Yes. Due to better insulation you will use less of your heating and cooling appliances, which will help cut down on energy costs. For more information about reducing your energy bill visit energy star’s website.

Do my new windows and doors come with new insect screens?

Most major manufacturers offer screens with their products. Some windows and doors, however, will need custom made screen solutions that need to be ordered separately.

Can you install windows and doors in the rain or bad weather?

Yes. In most cases we install year-round and make sure to protect your home from the elements while we work.

What happens to my existing window treatments when new windows are installed?

In some cases your new windows will have slightly narrower or wider trim and/or frames. If that is the case you will need to alter or modify your new window treatments. You may also want to change your window treatments to achieve complimentary look for your new windows.
